THE BRIEF:

To design a new industrial building at Wealden Forest Park to incorporate a car garage underneath with storage on the first floor.

Wealden Forest Park

We were approached to design a new industrial unit at Wealden Forest Park near Canterbury. The scheme was to include for storage and garage space for light industrial work.

First of all we looked at the site in general. Starting with looking at the existing conditions was important to make sure that the proposals were as small but impactful as possible. Therefore, our analysis of the site determined that there required more facilities for the site to be accessible for all. Parking bays and a new DDA compliant toilet were proposed to enhance the site for everyone to work and enjoy.

We designed the building using dark cladding with impactful, accented doorways to help form a focus to the composition of the building.
